I have been painting since 2014, evolving abstract expression into a practice of creating discernible shapes and characters.

 

Today we see a newfound journey into a world of decay and rebirth. I have painted over past works with layers of commercial paint products and etched, scratched, and clawed away into each to reach a weathered finish. Each new canvas is then coated in abstract text to create a line of communication and ultimately, a sense of familiarity within a raw and vulnerable space.​
